McConnell Excavating was established in 1993
and incorporated in 2002. Owner Eric McConnell credits the
success of the company to Jesus Christ and hardworking, loyal employees.
Faith & helping each other are Eric’s beliefs. “It ‘s the efforts of many that make this company not
just one person” says Eric. He and his wife Lori have a 2 year old son and live on their farm in
Oberlin with their two Australian Shepherds.
Eric is no stranger to heavy equipment & hard work. Eric started working the family farm at a
very young age where he planted crops and milked Holstein cows with his brother. Moving
dirt was a way of life then and the skills he learned follow through to today.
Literally from the ground up, Eric has built an excavating company with the efforts of a dedicated, hardworking TEAM that is leading the industry. Our clients include: Cleveland Construction, Menards, Fiorilli Construction, Ross Builders Company, Janotta & Herner, Lauth
